Hot Off The Press
Over the past twenty years, Strong Studio has designed almost one thousand print advertorials for the New York Times newspaper and magazines.
From travel to real estate, the advertorial objective remains consistent: create a technically precise and visually compelling layout that will be viewed by millions of people, featuring amazing photos and top-notch writing, all within aggressive project timelines.

Using Our Words
Strong Studio played a significant role in a dual campaign between the New York Times and the home goods retailer Fishs Eddy. The dishware collaboration was a massive success for both parties. Strong Studio had a blast working not only on the design but also on the advertising, art direction, copywriting, and implementation of the operation.
In 2013, the New York Times celebrated the 100th anniversary of the crossword puzzle invention with a commemorative logo and annual planner.

Calling All Travelers
In 2011, the New York Times announced a series of globe-trotting cruises that highlighted specific points of interest by their team of trusted journalists.
Strong Studio was asked to develop the logo and implement print and digital advertisements, a microsite, and a wealth of supporting marketing material.
The Gift of Time
When the New York Times decided to refresh their hardcover journals with customizable calendars and photos from the New York Times Archives, they brought Strong Studio into the fold.
Strong Studio helped develop the “Then and Now” theme, which paired ninetieth-century photos of New York City with a modern-day angle highlighting the profound change in the city. After the conceptual stage, Strong Studio curated photos, scouted locations, designed and fact-checked each page, managed production, and took the lead on print and in-store advertising.

Designing a Best Seller
Beginning in 2008, Strong Studio designed over 300 products for The New York Times’ online store. Strong Studio led the design initiative, including custom product design, packaging, logos, ad campaigns, microsites, and events.
Save the Date
Strong Studio helped develop and implement the creative for the New York Times Travel Show. The event, held annually at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City, was the most prominent travel show in North America.
