After Just 15 Years…

As we look back on the history of Strong Studio, we remember the work, the relationships, and the successes. But what we are most proud of is our evolution — from technology to communication to balancing our professional and personal lives. 

We’re very fortunate to have experienced these past 15 (mostly) healthy years and are looking forward to our Sweet Sixteen in 2022!

Always Be Learning

Our mantra, A.B.L. (Always Be Learning), reminds us to bring fresh ideas and inspiration to everything that we do. And so, we want to share with you some of the things we've learned over the years.

Be Authentic
After running a business for 15 years, I realized how important sleep is. I’ve learned that by sticking up for my personal and design ethics that I acquired from my parents, design school, and colleagues, you fall asleep better at night knowing that you did the right thing.

Be a (Girl) Boss
Growing up I was told that girls shouldn’t be too “bossy.” Then I joined Strong Studio and my voice grew and grew and grew. Now that I am a key decision maker and creative resource, I barely recognize the young intern who was afraid to assert herself into conversations. Be yourself and the world will respect you for it. Be a boss!

Step Out of Your Comfort Zone
My professional journey has taken me from educator to theater designer to graphic designer to studio director...so I'm no stranger to change. Strong Studio gave me the guidance, support, and opportunities I needed to build confidence and accept new challenges. Growth only happens when you step out of your comfort zone.
